General Sam’s off-road park is located near historic Huntsville, Texas. You can enjoy yourself there with your family as plenty of cabins are available for rent. For the off-road ride, it has 706 acres of wooded terrain. It has a 60 miles trail on the north of Huntsville where your car will probably get dirty. If you are planning a summer trip, this is the best place to go. They welcome visitors every weekend and even host events so you can meet other drivers as well.

Like the Hidden Falls Adventure Park, it is also open for ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, Hummers, Jeeps, and custom 4×4 rigs. Since many parks in the area are exclusively for motorcycles and ATVs, this is one of the largest Jeep off-roading trails in the state and the best for checking your Jeep reliability on uneven tracks.

The Texas Hill Country Overland Route passes through two towns, Mason and Fredericksburg, near Llano, Texas. It is a 307.4 km track with a point-to-point altitude gain of 9271 feet. The River Run ATV Park is located in Jacksonville, Texas. It is an enormous off-road park having more than 2000 acres that covers a distance of 12.0 miles and reaches an elevation of 328 feet.

After the off-road track ride, visitors can also go fishing and swimming as the Neches River crosses it at various points. River Run ATV parks have mud tracks and trails, which have a medium difficulty level, but it does not mean it is for newcomers. You are allowed in this park if you have motorcycles, dirt bikes, 4x4s, UTVs, or ATVs

The Black Gap OHV trail is situated near Big Bend National Park in Trilingual, Texas. Throughout the trail, you will gain 935 feet in elevation over 16.3 miles. In addition to hills, rock formations, and wildlife, it offers amazing views. 

Similar to the River Run ATV Park, its difficulty level is moderate and is available for ATVs, UTVs, and 4×4 vehicles, but you can also see some bikers there. If you want a muddy track, you can come in the rainy season and enjoy the mud ride with your 4x4s and SUVs. You can visit this park on any day of the year.

Wolf Caves Off Road Park

Just 8 miles west of Mason, Wolf Caves off-road park lies on the western edge of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. It has unique granite cliffs outcropping, and you can enjoy the best rock climbing there.

Trails in the park can be challenging even for heavily modified rock crawlers, and great trails are available for all levels of drivers and vehicles. It has 430 acres of riding area, so you have a big playground to enjoy. If you have UTVs, ATVs, or motorcycles, let me tell you this property is not for you, although if you have a truck or vehicles, including stock 4×4 models, then you can go there. 

Escondido Draw Recreation Area

Escondido Draw Recreation Area is located in Ozona, Texas. It has a breathtaking 3400-acre off-road trail. You can enjoy rock and hill climbing along with the off-road trail. You can go to this park with your family to enjoy the vacation, as it has tracks for beginners as well as pro-level riders. You can camp there, and if you have your RV along your side, you can also park it there, thanks to its 35 full hook-up RV sites. You are good to go there if you have ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, dirt bikes, 4x4s, and dune buggies. Every weekend, visitors can visit this park.
